Majid Salehi to direct comedy series 'Years Far from Home'

ifilm series 'Sweet and Sour' star Majid Salehi is to make a new comedy titled 'Years Far from Home'.

According to a media report, the shooting for the new production, which is a spinoff for the 21-episode series 'Shahgoosh', has launched on October 25, 2018.

Produced by Mohammad-Hossein Qasemi, 'Years Far from Home' will depict interesting stories about the two characters of the mother series. The characters are portrayed by two Iranian comedians Ahmad Mehranfar and Hadi Kazemi.

Azita Hajian, Ehsan Karimi, Giti Qasemi, Hadis Miramini, Azadeh Zarei are also among the cast members of the flick.

Besides appearing in 'Sweet and Sour', Majid Salehi, the director of the new comedy has been in a number of other ifilm series including 'Madineh' and '3x4'.
